SERVICE ALERT QUICK VIEW
SUBJECT: Banner Maintenance
SYSTEMS IMPACTED: All Banner Modules
CAMPUSES IMPACTED: Statewide
TIME OF OUTAGE: 6 a.m. – 10 a.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012
Technical staff will be applying maintenance to the Banner system on Sunday, February 12. During the maintenance activity, all Banner modules (including Finance, Student, Financial Aid, and Human Resource) will be down and INB and My Ivy Tech/(SSB) will be unavailable. Operations will not process production jobs for any Banner modules that are scheduled through AppWorx. Production processing in AppWorx will resume after the maintenance is completed. This outage is expected to last approximately four hours beginning at 6 a.m. and completing at 10 a.m. ODS/Discoverer should not be affected by this maintenance.
The banners are still not working, you click on a link and they just send errors.
This is what I keep getting
Database Log In Failed
TNS is unable to connect to destination. Invalid TNS address supplied or destination is not listening. This error can also occur because of underlying network transport problems.
Verify that the TNS name in the connectstring entry of the DAD for this URL is valid and the database listener is running.
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist Error-Code:12545 Error TimeStamp:Tue, 13 Mar 2012 21:37:01 GMT
I keep getting the same exact messagr login failed error invalid tns address supplied or destination is not listed.etc please help this is aggervating i cant chech my emails either
